This webinar provided information regarding Peruvian commercial species and superfood products.
Exportation of Peruvian frozen superseafood has increased 16.5% in last five years. In 2019, Peru exported frozen seafood valuing 1,430,515 dollars.
Peru exported 353,199 tons frozen seafood in 2015, and 489,210 tons in 2019, increasing around 8.5% in last five year on average.
China is a very important partner with Peru.
In 2019, The most popular Peruvian seafood were: Squid, Shrimp, Scallop, MahiMahi, Roe, Mackerel.
Squid: 59% Shrimp: 16% Scallop: 6% MahiMahi: 4% Roe: 3% Mackerel: 3% Others: 9%
